A New Model for the Production of Magnesium Minerals.
he MareMag LIFE project, titled "Innovative Marine Magnesium Minerals for Production, Safe, Sustainable and Circular Chemicals" (LIFE23-ENV-IT-MareMag LIFE), was created to demonstrate a new approach to magnesium hydroxide (Mg(OH)2) production. The project, co-funded by the European Union's LIFE program, will employ a process powered solely by renewable energy and residual brine from salt marshes, without consuming additional chemicals.
